This is a 2004 Bentley Continental GT finished in silver with a cream leather interior and only 28,000 miles on the clock.
The Bentley Continental GT was the first offering from the manufacturer under their new owners, the VW group. This new model from Bentley was tasked with rewarding VW’s investment whilst also appealing to Bentley’s existing customer base. First debuted in 2003 at the Geneva motor show, the Continental was positioned at a price point half of that of its more expensive stablemates, giving the car a much wider customer base.
Being the first car produced by Bentley under VW ownership, the Continental was the first car to use mass production methods of building for the marque. Before the Continental had even turned a wheel, 3000 orders were placed and with the third generation being unveiled in 2018 and still being made today the continental has played a big part in Bentley revival.
The Continental GT is a great car and one that has aged so well since its initial introduction in 2003. They respond well to being used regularly and even the earlier models still give the same joy, luxury and comfort whilst driving. The 6.0 litre, twin turbo charged W 12 engine provides impressive power yet the car rides smoothly and is exceptionally usable as a daily driver.
This fine example has had only 2 owners from new and has covered a mere 28,000 miles. The service history contains 6 stamps from Bentley main dealerships and the history file includes the original service book and invoices from Bentley Kent outlining work totalling over £5,000 between 2008 and 2016. There is also an invoice stating that the previous owner purchased the car in 2006 for a shade under £83,000.
This car was put through an MoT in October of 2021 and passed with only one advisory relating to some clouding on the drivers side rear view mirror and has been freshly serviced for 2022. This 2 owner, super-low milage car presents beautifully both inside and out and offers fantastic value.
