We love these Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolets here and normally have a few every year. They seem to be much better value than the Coupes at the moment and maybe I like posing in the summer, but I totally prefer them!

This will be the bargain of the summer, it is a 1994 Porsche 911 (993) Carrera Cabriolet, finished in Polar Silver with Midnight Blue Leather Interior. It has covered 107k Miles from new with a Full History. It was supplied new by Dick Lovett in Swindon and has just been serviced at Octane, a local Porsche specialist, It comes with some nice options including the desirable Manual Gearbox, Comfort Seats, Air Conditioning, Power Roof and nice Alloy Wheels. We have priced her to sell within days, not weeks and have driven her a lot over the last few days, she drives perfectly. Our car has been well looked after, the interior is beautiful, but there are a few scratches and crazing on the bodywork, please see the pictures above.

In 1993 Porsche introduced what is regarded by many as the most beautiful 911 of all: the Type 993. Over the years the 911 had received numerous aerodynamic and safety-inspired add-ons, diluting the purity of the original form; the Type 993’s arrival marked a return to basic principles, being recognisably a 911 but one in which all functions had been harmoniously integrated in a truly outstanding example of modern automotive styling. The range offered remained pretty much as before, comprising conventional two-wheel (Carrera 2) and four-wheel drive (Carrera 4) models, the legendary Turbo and the Cabriolet convertible, all powered by the latest, 3.6-litre version of Porsche’s perennial flat-six engine.

With a nice normal mileage, a perfect colour scheme, some necessary options, we think this 993 Cabriolet represents incredible value in todays market. The previous owner bought if from Paragon Porsche, possibly the best of the Specialists, in 2007 and she has enjoyed it for the last 13 years. It has all its books, It is freshly serviced, needs nothing and is ready for its new home. A new was fitted recently and It can be used perfectly well daily today or you could gently improve the cosmetics to have a show example in time for the summer!
